Before moving Instagram automation to AP3K, keep a record of your existing campaigns and remove the previous tool’s connection when you are ready to switch.
Before you begin
- Have access to the ManyChat workspace and the Instagram account.
- Save the trigger rules, messages, buttons, and follow-up logic you want to rebuild.
- Review the effect of removing the Instagram channel on existing contacts and active automations.
Remove the Instagram connection in ManyChat
Open the Instagram channel in ManyChat settings. Review its disable or removal controls carefully: temporarily disabling a channel and removing an Instagram account have different effects. Follow the current confirmation shown by ManyChat and keep any needed records first.
Review Instagram Apps and websites
In Instagram settings, open Apps and websites and review active connections. Remove the ManyChat connection when you are ready to end its access. Keep the connection you authorized for AP3K. Names and menus may differ across Instagram versions.
Review any Facebook-side connection
If ManyChat was also connected through a Facebook Page or Meta business portfolio, review those permissions too. Remove the previous Meta connection.
Connect and test AP3K
Connect your Instagram account. Publish a reviewed automation and test from a second account. If Instagram reports a thread ownership error, check whether a previous connection still controls that conversation.
