Prepare a comment automation before publishing the Instagram post or Reel it should use.
Choose Next published post
- Open Automations and create a Post automation.
- In Post scope, choose Next published post.
- Configure the keyword or Any Comment rule, messages and real link destination.
- Publish the automation before publishing the Instagram post or Reel.
- Test a new eligible comment from a separate Instagram account.
The first publication after activation is selected from the connected account’s timeline. The rule does not choose whichever post receives a comment first. If media cannot be verified, it does not guess.
Editing, pausing and later launches
A draft is not armed. Once activated, editing or pausing preserves the publication boundary and any selected post. Create a new automation or duplicate it for a later launch. If the desired post is already published, choose a specific post instead.
Next Post does not schedule or publish Instagram content. It follows normal plan limits and delivery eligibility. Collection and other paid steps still require the appropriate plan.
