This is how your flow talks to people. Add a message step, pick the content type and write the message in the editor.

Message with buttonsUp to three choices that route to separate steps.

Connect separate steps to send several pieces of content. File attachments in the basic automation editor are separate from these flow node types.

Setup

  1. Add the message step.
  2. Write your text and give the step a useful label.
  3. Add your destination links, using HTTPS.
  4. Connect the next step or choose Finish here.
  5. Preview the conversation and test the links on a phone.

A plain flow message supports up to 1,000 characters. Link button labels support up to 20 characters. Product card titles and subtitles support up to 80 characters each.

Using collected values

A stored custom field can be inserted with a token such as {{first_name}}. Collect or set that field before using it: unavailable values render empty. Preview and test the result rather than assuming every contact has the same data.

Waiting for an answer

A collection step pauses until the person replies. Connect its valid response path to the next step and configure the skip path. Email and phone collection validates the answer before advancing and stores the details against the responding contact.
