A Facebook Page is not required for AP3K’s direct Instagram Login connection. Your Instagram account must be a professional Business or Creator account.
The current connection flow
Choose Add Instagram account in AP3K and approve access through Instagram Login. You do not need to create a Facebook Page or connect Messenger to use this flow. Connect your Instagram account.
Why older instructions mention a Page
Facebook-based Instagram Login historically used a linked Facebook Page to grant access. If you are maintaining a legacy connection, its Page relationship can still matter. AP3K labels its legacy account selector separately.
Facebook automation is different
Connecting Instagram does not create Facebook Page or Messenger automations. Those channels are not supported by AP3K.
If a previous app still owns conversations
An older tool may retain a Meta business integration even after you connect Instagram directly. Check conversation ownership when Instagram reports a thread ownership error.
