Start with the selected Instagram account, connection status, and a fresh test interaction. Missing permissions are one possible cause; a draft automation, unmatched trigger, or plan limit can also stop delivery.
1. Confirm the automation is active
- Check the selected Instagram account and post.
- Publish the automation and confirm it is enabled.
- Use a new matching comment, story interaction, or DM from a second account. Older comments are not replayed.
2. Review Instagram connection readiness
Open the account’s Instagram connection details in AP3K. Check comment and DM readiness and any displayed error. Use Reconnect if the token or required access is missing.
3. Review granted permissions
Open Instagram’s Apps and websites settings and find the app you authorized for AP3K. Review its account, comment, and messaging permissions. Instagram’s wording can vary; confirm the permissions requested during connection were approved.
4. Reconnect if necessary
In AP3K, use Reconnect for the affected Instagram account. Approve all requested access and confirm the same username on return. Signing out of AP3K is not required. Connect your Instagram account.
5. Check delivery-specific blockers
- Check monthly usage and whether the automation uses paid AI replies.
- Check message access and competing apps if public comments work but DMs fail.
- Check delays, opener buttons, and collection steps: later messages may be waiting for the person’s response.
Test and share useful details
Run a new test from a second Instagram account. If it still fails, contact support with the username, automation name, post link, failure time and timezone, and the exact visible error. Do not send passwords or tokens.
