An Instagram messaging eligibility error means Meta did not allow the requested account to use the messaging connection. Check the account and access requirements before reconnecting.
Use a professional account
Instagram Login requires a Business or Creator account. A personal account cannot use the required messaging API. Switch the account type in Instagram’s professional settings if needed.
Enable message access
Check Instagram’s messaging settings for connected tools and enable Allow access to messages. Fix disabled DM access.
Use the direct Instagram connection
AP3K’s current Instagram Login flow does not require a Facebook Page. Legacy Facebook-based connections may require their existing Page and account relationship; use the reconnect guidance shown in your account.
Reconnect and review the error
Return to AP3K and reconnect the same Instagram account. Approve the requested permissions. If Meta still refuses eligibility, record the exact error and when it occurred rather than repeatedly changing unrelated settings.
Contact support
Share your Instagram username, connection method if known, and the time and wording of the failure through AP3K support. Never share login credentials.
