Instagram controls which messages its API will accept. Account restrictions, usage limits and the conversation window can affect delivery independently of your AP3K subscription.
What rate limiting means
A rate-limit response means the platform is restricting API activity. Repeatedly triggering the same automation does not raise that limit and can make diagnosis harder. Inspect the reported error and the account’s connection state first.
No speed override
AP3K does not offer a user-configurable DM sending rate or a paid priority lane. It also does not display the source documentation’s Smart Queue Control panel. Avoid treating an example rate such as 60 DMs/min as a guaranteed AP3K delivery speed.
Reduce unnecessary activity
- Use a specific keyword when only interested commenters need the response.
- Review overlapping automations on the same post.
- Use the one-DM-per-user setting where appropriate.
- Keep flows concise and test with a small audience before a launch.
Distinguish a wait from a failure
A configured delay has a due time; a collection step waits for an answer; a failed API request needs investigation. These are not interchangeable. A long wait can also cross the reply window, preventing later delivery.

Review Instagram messaging API errors and Slow DM delivery. Platform limits can change; use Meta’s current documentation when investigating a specific API limit rather than an old numeric table.
