Send the Right Product Page From an Instagram Comment

An interested shopper should land on the product shown in the post, not a store homepage that makes them search again. Design the comment-to-DM campaign around the specific product and the information a buyer needs next.

The comment starts the request; your trigger and actions determine which response AP3K sends.

Connect the content to a stable product identity

Use the product's actual detail page and check that its name, images, and options match the Reel. If the post demonstrates a particular size or color, explain how the shopper selects it. Do not send a link that silently defaults to a different variant.

Avoid hardcoding price or stock claims in a long-running DM unless someone maintains them. The product page is usually the better place for changing information. The message can say current details and availability without inventing a live inventory integration.

Write the request in buying language

For example: Comment BAG for the bag shown in this Reel, including sizes and availability. The final DM can say: Here is the bag from the video. You can check the available options on the product page. The button should identify the product or action.

Scope the automation to the relevant post when the same account promotes many products. A broad SHOP keyword that sends every commenter to one item can create expensive confusion during a busy launch.

Test product details before checkout

Open the link in Instagram's browser, select a variant, and inspect delivery information. Check that the page remains usable when a phone keyboard opens. A controlled test can stop before a real payment while still revealing major navigation problems.

AP3K's link delivery does not reserve stock, create an order, or confirm a purchase. Those events belong to the store. Keep any conversion reporting tied to the actual commerce system rather than using DM counts as sales.

Plan for unavailable or discontinued items

If the item sells out, decide whether the destination should show accurate stock information, an optional restock request, or a clearly labeled alternative. Do not replace the original product with a different one without explaining the change.

  • The promoted product and destination match.
  • Variants and delivery information work on mobile.
  • Changing prices and stock are maintained by the store.
  • Campaign links are rechecked after product-page changes.
  • Customer questions can reach a person when the saved response is insufficient.
