Your Instagram Post Is Missing From the Automation Builder

A missing post is a media-selection problem before it is a keyword problem. Verify the connected account and the actual published content first. Avoid using a broad trigger as a workaround until you understand what media the campaign can address.

The comment starts the request; your trigger and actions determine which response AP3K sends.

Confirm the account and publication state

Check the Instagram username currently selected in AP3K. If you manage multiple accounts, a valid post from another account will not become available merely because you can see it in your personal Instagram app.

Confirm that the content is actually published and identify its post URL. A draft, scheduled item, or similar-looking repost should not be treated as the same media. Keep the exact URL available for any support investigation.

Refresh the available media and inspect more results

Use the builder's Refresh control and its available post-list expansion controls. The initial visible group may not contain every older item. Compare the thumbnail and caption before choosing, especially if you regularly reuse covers.

If the content is a collaboration or belongs to another publisher, review ownership and eligibility rather than assuming profile visibility grants the same access as an owned post. Test the exact supported configuration before promising automatic replies.

Check connection readiness before reconnecting

Inspect the account connection and profile/media permission status shown in AP3K. If access needs renewal or a permission is missing, use the normal reconnect flow and review the requested permissions carefully.

Do not repeatedly remove and reconnect an account as a speculative first step. Removal can have consequences for the account's stored data. Read the actual action description and choose the least disruptive correction supported by the evidence.

After authorization, AP3K shows Instagram connected and a separate Granted status for Profile & media, Comments, and DMs.

Avoid silently broadening the campaign

Selecting Any post changes the campaign's scope; it does not explain why a particular item is missing. If the offer belongs to one post, broadening can send the wrong resource elsewhere. Resolve the selection issue or choose a verified publication path.

For escalation, provide the connected username, exact post URL, publication status, and visible error or missing-list behavior. Exclude passwords and access tokens. Once the post is selectable, run a fresh comment test to verify the entire journey rather than stopping at a visible thumbnail.
