Use Instagram Comment Automation for Creative Commission Enquiries
A commission request often begins with someone admiring a finished piece. The next useful step is a clear explanation of the service, not an instant promise of price or availability. Use automation to deliver that explanation consistently.

Create a commission information page
Explain the types of work you accept, the information needed for an enquiry, indicative process, and how current availability is communicated. If pricing depends on scope, say so rather than forcing a misleading universal quote into the DM.
Show relevant portfolio examples you have permission to publish. Distinguish a past client's finished work from what a new buyer will receive. Avoid implying that every commission includes the same deliverables or usage rights without an actual agreement.
Connect the post to the appropriate service
A portrait illustration and a commercial brand package may require different enquiry pages. Use post-specific scope or a clear resource keyword so someone requesting PORTRAIT does not receive an unrelated service menu.
The final DM can say: Here is the portrait commission guide, including the enquiry steps and current availability information. Use View commission guide as the button. Do not use Your slot is reserved when no booking or agreement has occurred.
Move custom details into an appropriate enquiry process
Use a form or human conversation for brief details, deadlines, reference materials, and any sensitive information. AP3K's saved response should not decide whether a project is feasible or approve a custom deadline on your behalf.
Test the form on a phone, especially image-upload requirements. If a large brief is easier to complete on a computer, explain that on the destination and provide a practical way to continue later without losing the service details.
- Service type matches the post.
- Scope-dependent pricing is explained honestly.
- Availability is maintained.
- Enquiry does not imply confirmed acceptance.
Measure useful briefs, not just requests
Review how many enquiries contain the information you need to assess a project. Repeated missing details may indicate a confusing commission page. Add clarity there before adding more questions to the initial DM.
When your schedule fills, update the destination and campaign to show the correct next step. A waiting-list option is useful only if someone owns that list and explains what joining does and does not guarantee.
