Keep Evergreen Instagram Posts From Sending Stale Offers
An evergreen post can remain useful long after its attached offer stops being accurate. A scheduler encourages reuse, but repeated publication can spread old prices, unavailable downloads and obsolete booking instructions. Treat the destination as a maintained part of the content asset.

The decision to make
Choose a review interval based on how quickly the offer changes. A stable checklist needs less frequent review than a seasonal price list. Give every reusable campaign an owner and a retirement condition so it does not remain active indefinitely by default.
A practical workflow
- 1Step 1Inventory reusable posts with their resource URLs.
- 2Step 2Open destinations on mobile and check dates, access and availability.
- 3Step 3Update the message or pause the campaign when the original promise can no longer be fulfilled.
Worked example
A recurring equipment checklist can point to a maintained resource page instead of a dated PDF attachment. The page should clearly state what was updated and retain useful access.
What to avoid
Do not silently replace a promised free guide with a checkout page. The destination should continue to match the expectation created by the post.
Where AP3K fits
Publishing and responding are separate jobs. Use Instagram's available publishing tools or a suitable scheduler for the post; AP3K handles supported interaction and reply workflows after the content is live. For a post-specific campaign, confirm the actual media is available, select it and test a new eligible comment after activation. This guide does not describe a native AP3K publishing scheduler or promise automatic attachment to a future post.
How to judge the result
Review stale-link incidents and resource complaints alongside clicks. A working URL can still lead to an outdated or misleading offer.
- The publishing owner and reply-campaign owner know their responsibilities.
- The live caption, configured keyword and destination make the same promise.
- A new test comment produces the expected response on the intended account.
