How to Connect Instagram to AP3K

Connecting Instagram is the foundation of every AP3K campaign. The connection tells AP3K which professional account owns the posts, comments, and campaign activity. Follow this checklist before creating your first automation.

The connection uses Instagram authorization so AP3K can access the account information required for campaigns.

Confirm that the account is professional

AP3K is designed for Instagram Business and Creator accounts. If the account is still personal, switch it to a professional account in Instagram before starting the connection.

  • Open the Instagram account settings
  • Confirm the account type is Business or Creator
  • Make sure you are authorized to manage the account
  • Keep access to the account available during authorization

Connect the account

Start from the AP3K integration or onboarding page. Continue to Instagram authorization, choose the correct professional account, and approve the permissions required for the features you intend to use.

  1. 1Open Instagram connectionChoose Connect Instagram from onboarding or the account integration area.
  2. 2Authorize accessSign in through the official authorization screen and review the requested access.
  3. 3Select the correct accountIf several professional accounts are available, choose the one whose posts and comments you want AP3K to manage.
  4. 4Return to AP3KWait for the connection confirmation, then verify that the Instagram username appears in the dashboard.

Refresh posts and Reels

Open the campaign builder and refresh the media list. You can create a campaign for a specific post or use Any post when the same trigger should apply across the connected account.

If the account does not appear

Do not repeatedly create campaigns against a missing connection. Recheck the professional account type, confirm you selected the intended account during authorization, and reconnect once. Then refresh the media list again.

Protect the connection

Review connected apps and account access regularly. If access is revoked or expires, reconnect before testing automations. AP3K does not need your Instagram password stored inside a campaign.
